THE VEHICLE WAS SHIPPED FROM SOUTHAMPTON TO NEW YORK IN TIME FOR THE RACE TO START AND THEN SHIPPED BACK FROM CANADA TO LIVERPOOL.

Shipping of bikes from the USA to the UK Guy Lucking

Jamie at Hill Shipping has shipped two bikes for me in the last two months. I cannot recommend their service highly enough. It was a seamless and faultless process each time, including arranging collecting one bike from Missisppi and freighting it overland to the port. They took all the stress out of importing a bike from the USA.

Austin Show and HotRod swap meet

Here's some pictures I took at the event. Mostly of cars.  The event started at 10AM but when I left around 3:30 there was still a long line of "show Cars" still waiting to register and drive in.  Austin area very laid back and not that into punctuality.

The people were wild, wacky, but very friendly, part of what makes this event popular I think.  The Rock-a-Billy crowd apparently very big in the HotRod and cafe racer bike scenes. There was lots of slick back

hair on the guys and " B-52" hairdos for the ladies.  Skin art was everywhere, saw some real interesting tattoos.

Cars were everything from rust bucket bar finds looking for the right person to start the process, to fully restored, to complete customized.

Several styles as well, RatRods, or jalopies, Slammed to the ground cruisers, and lots of others.  Most reasonable priced too, not so much the designer  or highly collectible like you see at Barrett Jackson.

1975 CHEVROLET CORVETTE USA TO THE UK

HILL SHIPPING HAVE ARRANGED THE IMPORT OF A 1975 CHEVROLET CORVETTE FROM THE USA TO THE UK ON BEHALF OF OUR CLIENT DANIEL STACEY.

MR STACEY HAD THESE KIND WORDS TO SAY :

I recently used Hill Shipping to bring over a 75 corvette that I purchased from Maryland. They arranged the collection of the vehicle from the seller's home, the shipping to southampton, and all the paperwork involved. This included making sure the import tax was only 5% as the vehicle is over 30 years old. Everything went according to plan and the vehicle was waiting for me to pick up at the port the day after the ship docked. The vehicle was in the same condition it was in when it left the previous owner. Hill Shipping kept me up to date along the way and sent me the vehicle's title promptly, and the HMRC clearance came through within days. I would recommend them for shipping any vehicle from the USA and I will not hesitate in using them again.
